
A MESSAGE FROM SLPSB: At the St. Landry Parish School Board Meeting last night, the Board voted to make mask wearing optional at schools, district facilities, and on the school bus. This Board action is effective immediately.


Congratulations to the North Central High School Girls' Basketball Team! Our Lady Hurricanes are Championship Bound!
Tomorrow, March 4th, the team will be playing for the Top 28 State Championship title at 4:00 p.m. in Hammond. Consequently, Superintendent Jenkins has approved an early dismissal of 12:00 p.m. for the North Central school zone. Palmetto Elementary, Washington Elementary, CAPS, SLATS, MACA, Washington Career Center, and the Head Start centers.
