This is a message from the St. Landry Parish School Board Nursing Department. The Louisiana Department of Health and American Academy of Pediatrics encourage parents to keep up-to-date on vaccinations and routine wellness visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Maintaining routine immunization and wellness visits are critical during pandemic especially for children 24 months or younger, pregnant women, and children with chronic health conditions. An up-to-date immunization record is a requirement to register your child for school unless a child has a contraindiction with vaccines. Parents are encouraged to call your child’s medical provider for an appointment to schedule routine immunizations and wellness visits. My child can't take the shots. What do I do? The child’s parent or guardian may request an immunization exemption from the child's school.
Tech support is being provided to our students, staff, and parents. Need technology assistance? Call 337.942-0222 Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
