R. Robinson

We proudly recognize Mrs. Robinson as the Director of Federal Programs for the St. Landry Parish School System, bringing with her over 27 years of dedicated educational service within the district. Her impressive career includes roles as a high school English Language Arts teacher (10.5 years), Assistant Principal (1.5 years), Principal (9 years), and Supervisor of Elementary Education (7 years).

Mrs. Robinson's leadership has consistently driven growth and excellence. As principal of Krotz Springs Elementary, she led the school to seven consecutive years of School Performance Score (SPS) growth, establishing a legacy of academic achievement and strong instructional leadership.

Her accomplishments have been recognized statewide:

  • Finalist – 2019 Louisiana Elementary Principal of the Year

  • Semi-Finalist – 2017 Louisiana Elementary Principal of the Year

  • District Principal of the Year (Elementary/Middle School) for 2015–2016, 2017–2018, and 2018–2019

A true trailblazer, Mrs. Robinson holds the distinction of being the first female Director of Federal Programs in St. Landry Parish, as well as the first African American female principal of Krotz Springs Elementary.

Beyond her professional accolades, she has been a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated since 1997. She is also joyfully celebrating 25 years of marriage and is the proud mother of two stunning daughters.

Mrs. Robinson continues to lead with passion, purpose, and a relentless commitment to educational equity and student success.
