C. Charles

With 24 years of experience in education, Clentrice Charles has devoted her career to improving outcomes for students throughout St. Landry Parish. Her educational journey has included roles as a classroom teacher, interventionist, instructional specialist, and administrator. She has served as Assistant Principal at Opelousas High School and Principal at both Lawtell Elementary and Opelousas Middle School.

Now serving as the Coordinator of Federal Programs, Mrs. Charles brings her wealth of experience and passion for educational equity to the district level. In this role, she is focused on supporting district priorities and maximizing student achievement through effective use of federal resources and programs.

A proud product of the same community she serves, Mrs. Charles is committed to enriching the educational experience for all students in St. Landry Parish. She has been happily married to Mr. Kerry Charles for over 29 years and is the proud mother of Leah and Lindsey Charles.
