MASK MANDATE

MASK MANDATE LIFTED

Effective immediately and for the 2021-2022 school year, all St. Landry Parish School System students, staff, and visitors to any SLPSS facility will no longer be required to wear masks while inside or outside St. Landry Parish School facilities. If parents, students, or staff wish to continue to wear masks while at school, they may do so. The mask mandate, however, will continue to be in place while traveling on school buses.

Placement Testing Applications

Each year the district offers placement tests for students wishing to transfer into the St. Landry Parish School System from an unapproved public school, unapproved nonpublic school, or LDOE approved home school.  Below you will find links to register for these tests.  Please note that there are different tests for different grade levels.  Please choose the "ENTERING" grade-level application that applies to your child.

Launching Into Success: Camp Accelerate for High School Students

We are excited to announce Launching Into Success: Camp Accelerate for High School students. Our first-ever high school enrichment camps offer a myriad of opportunities for students currently enrolled in 9th-12th grade (yes current graduates may attend). Students may choose from one of the four camps OR choose all four, the camps have been scheduled in such a way to allow students the ability to participate in all of them for FREE! Emergency Broadband

The Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program will provide a discount of up to $50 per month for broadband services for eligible consumers. Consumers who live on qualifying Tribal lands can receive enhanced support of up to $75 per month toward broadband services. Additionally, the program provides a one-time device discount of up to $100 for a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet purchased through a participating provider. The one-time discount requires a consumer co-payment of more than $10 and less than $50. The Emergency Broadband Benefit is temporary. It will expire when funds are exhausted or six months after the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) declares the end of the COVID-19 health emergency.
