Celebrating Black Excellence at MACA! Starting today, our JAG students are leading a daily Black History Month campaign, shining a spotlight on inspiring Black careers and honoring the achievements of remarkable people of color. Stay tuned each day as we celebrate history, excellence, and the leaders shaping our future! Our first acknowledgment, by our JAG student Lauren B., is Susie King Taylor, the first African American army nurse. She bravely served during the Civil War, providing care to wounded soldiers despite the racial barriers of her time.
