Good morning, due to low water pressure issues, the following schools will be closed today : Plaisance Middle, Opelousas High/Biomed, Opelousas Jr. High, Opelouas Middle, Creswell Middle, Northeast Elem, Grolee Elem, Park Vista elem, MACA, SLATS, CAPS (Opelouas Alternative School). All 12 month employees , facilitators and Assistant Principals are to report to work. Thanks for your understanding as we work with local agencies to resolve these concerns.

We cordially invite all community members to attend the upcoming SEAC Meeting. This meeting aims to provide a platform for valuable discussions and ensure the enhancement of special education services within our district.
Your presence and valuable input will greatly contribute to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment for all students.

If you suspect your child has talented music, theater, and/or visual art characteristics, contact your school for a referral to the School Building Level Committee. Talented referrals and evaluations are only conducted once a year in the Spring.
