Steve Carter Literacy Program Information


MACA's DND Club is having their first meeting on Tuesday, August 13th, after school from 2:30-3:30 in the library. Club sponsors are hoping to get the word out and see some new faces, even those who've never played tabletop games before.


We are pleased to inform you that the St. Landry Parish School Board is participating in a meal service option called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). All enrolled students in the District are eligible to receive a breakfast and lunch meal at NO CHARGE to your household throughout the school year. The schools listed below (all schools) are participating for SY 2024-25:

Orientation Reminder


MACA Parents and Guardians, as you uniform shop, please keep in mind the Dress Code guide (update-No gray or black sweatshirts, only solid navy blue or white sweatshirts and jackets)


MACA welcomes a familiar face to the JAG program. Carmen Leger will now serve as the high school JAG specialist.

We will be following a staggered entry schedule for the first two days students return to school. The schedule is as follows:
August 8th - Last names beginning with A-I; August 9th - Last names beginning with J-Z; August 12th - All students report. We are looking forward to our students returning to school for a successful school year!

All St. Landry Parish School Board Administrative offices and schools will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in observance of Juneteenth. We will not have summer school or Camp Accelerate on this day.
