We are pleased to inform you that the St. Landry Parish School Board is participating in a meal service option called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). All enrolled students in the District are eligible to receive a breakfast and lunch meal at NO CHARGE to your household throughout the school year. Greetings GCES! We are excited to kick off the new school year with our Back to School Meet and Greet for Kindergarten-4th Grade Students on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 3:00 - 4:30. Come and meet our amazing staff, pay school fees, present current proof of residency, and drop off school supplies. Hope to see you there!


We will be following a staggered entry schedule for the first two days students return to school. The schedule is as follows:
August 8th - Last names beginning with A-I; August 9th - Last names beginning with J-Z; August 12th - All students report. We are looking forward to our students returning to school for a successful school year!
