Grand Coteau Elementary is a small Pre-K through 4th-grade school located in rural St. Landry Parish. 

 Grand Coteau Elementary has been recognized by the National Network of Partnership Schools through John Hopkins University for its excellence in family and community involvement. 

The purpose of Grand Coteau Elementary is to graduate responsible and productive citizens with strong critical thinking in academic skills by providing a rigorous, dynamic comprehensive curriculum delivered in partnership with the community, family and competent, qualified staff in a safe and caring environment.
