Last week of Summer Fun at Grand Coteau Elementary! As we approached the final line of our Camp Accelerate Summer Learning, the Grand Coteau Fire Department visited and students enjoyed fun recreational outside play activities.

Grand Coteau Elementary campers have been busy developing growth mindsets, completing Zearn lessons, and (4th graders) building fractions houses while enjoying hot, tasty lunch and breakfast each day!

Grand Coteau Elementary Camp Accelerate students and staff members participated in the Cultural/Heritage spirit day by wearing special attire and colors to represent their cultural backgrounds.

What a great way to end the 2nd week of Camp Accelerate at GCE! We awarded our Campers of the Week and Zearn Math Leaders.

Fun Day 2024 Highlight! Our students who met or exceeded their iReady typical growth targets got a special treat – they got to slime the principal! We are so proud of their hard work and dedication throughout the year!

Yesterday we Followed the Yellow Brick Road into the 2024-2025 School year, celebrating the achievements of our students in K-4! Just like Dorothy and her friends, they’ve learned valuable lessons about bravery, kindness, and the importance of believing in themselves. A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers, supportive families, and wonderful staff for making this event so special. Together, we've shown that there truly is no place like Grand Coteau Elementary! Yesterday, we celebrated our Pre-K graduates with a magical Wizard of Oz-themed awards ceremony! Our little ones have shown incredible courage, heart, and wisdom throughout the year, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements. Congratulations to all our graduates as they take their first steps on the yellow brick road to kindergarten!
