Our JAG students, along with others from across the parish, had an amazing day visiting Opelousas General Hospital, where they explored various career fields through insightful presentations. After a fun lunch break, the day wrapped up with inspiring talks from instructors at SoLaCC's Opelousas location, where students learned about the wide range of courses and opportunities available to them after high school. A day full of learning, growth, and excitement for the future! đ

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to these efforts, especially for the lovely flowers that helped bring our flower ribbons to life in the school yard. đ

MACA's Renaissance Team and Student Council have been working hard the past few weeks getting our campus ready for "Pink Out Day" as part of OGH Foundation's "Paint the Town Pink." Every MACA student was given the opportunity to create their own ribbon with breast cancer facts, statistics, and reasons why we set aside October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This was a WHOLE school and community effort and our students and their families really pulled through! Thank you to ALL who have given your utmost efforts AND thank you to parents, grandparents, and alumni who donated towards our efforts as well! đ
