Science Meets Mystery at MACA! 🔍
Mrs. Jolivette-Wilson’s 8th grade students are putting the Scientific Method to work by using it to solve a crime! Students are conducting research to gather clues that will help them identify the mystery substance left behind at the crime scene.
Who knew science could be this much of a mystery? We can’t wait to see if our student investigators crack the case! 💛💙

MACA Students Stepping Up!
It’s always great to see our MACA family looking out for one another! Our high school students stepped up this week to lend a helping hand to our 7th graders as they learned the ins and outs of opening their lockers.
A little patience, a little teamwork, and a whole lot of MACA spirit! We love seeing our older students setting the example and making our younger students feel right at home.💙💛

History Comes Alive at MACA!
Mrs. Brown knows how to make history come alive! From “unboxing” artifacts to introduce her 8th grade Social Studies students to their new topics, to stepping back in time as Thomas Jefferson for her 7th graders, she made the first day of school one to remember.
Who says learning history has to be boring? Mrs. Brown brought it to life!

Yesterday, Mrs. Castille called each class into the gym to review school rules, procedures, and expectations. She also discussed the possibility of creating a Student Advisory Council to give students a voice in school matters.
