Good Afternoon GCES! The deadline to register students for Camp Accelerate (June 6-30, Monday-Thursday, 8:00-3:00) is Wednesday, April 13 at 4:00 PM. This is a great program for all students, but please ensure that students who are in jeopardy of failing are registered to attend. Good Evening GCES. On Saturday evening our school suffered a great loss when Ms. Sandra Pitre, paraprofessional in our Learning Center, passed away. She has served our community for over 40 years. We did not make school-wide announcements, as we wanted you to have an opportunity to speak to your child at home. If you feel your child needs to speak further with someone, counseling services are available. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. Have a good evening.

A Message from SLPSB: Due to the anticipated severe weather conditions, St. Landry Parish schools, head starts, and administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, March 30, 2022. This closure will include any after school activities. Regular school hours are expected to resume on Thursday, March 31st. The decision to have a total system closure was based on advice from the Office of Emergency Preparedness and for safety concerns expressed by the SLPSB Transportation Manager. The safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. Stay safe!
