This year the St. Landry Parish School Board will host a summer learning program for children in grades K through 8, providing not only Language Arts and Math tutoring in a small group setting but also enrichment experiences that will enable students to excel in the 2021- 2022 school year. Students will have opportunities to take virtual field trips, learn about science and technology, engage in social living projects, play sports, and develop an appreciation for art, theater, music, and more. The 4-week program will be offered June 7th through July 1st. Students will be offered transportation to and from the program, and meals will be provided. A Message from SLPSB Central Office: The town of Grand Coteau has announced that they will be shutting off water tomorrow at 8:00 AM to make repairs stemming from a ruptured main water line therefore Grand Coteau Elementary School and Grand Coteau Head Start will be closed for in-person. As a result, GCES and Grand Coteau Head Start teachers will provide virtual instruction tomorrow, February 24, 2021. Please make every effort to have your child log on through Google Classroom. at 8:00 AM. We will update you as more information becomes available.
