Hello Washington Family. Parents you are to be commended for your attendance and support of last night’s OPEN HOUSE/PARENT NIGHT. Please be aware that the GPA on your child’s report card may not be correct. Although the grades are accurate, a new report card will need to be sent home with the correct information. Good afternoon Washington family. The school will host an OPEN HOUSE/PARENT NIGHT this Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 5:30PM - 7:30PM. Parents, grandparents, guardians, and students are invited. Attending this event will allow you to share your concerns, receive important school information, receive your child’s report card, and connect with your child’s teacher. Good afternoon Washington Family. It is our hope that this message finds you all doing well. We would like to share a few reminders. Thanks for your patience is ensuring our students adhere to the NO HOOD district policy. We do understand that supply may be limited and we will work with students on jacket color but please NO HOOD. Please ensure jackets are free from any obscenities or offensive markings. Also, we are asking that students who are being dropped off to be brought in before 8:00AM to ensure they do not miss any instructional time. In closing please have student attend school EVERY day as the current curriculum requires that students are privy to as much academic time as possible. A missed day of school is a missed day of learning. Thanks for all of your support as we transition into a great 2024-2025 school year!!! Important St. Landry Parish School District Announcement: After consulting with the Office of Emergency Preparedness, all schools and administrative offices will be open tomorrow, Thursday, September 12, 2024. However, please be aware that there may be transportation delays due to the aftermath of Hurricane Francine. Given the extensive geography of our parish, we understand that some areas may face challenges. If your family is experiencing storm-related difficulties that prevent your child from attending school, please reach out to the school to inform them. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
