The last day for Learning Beyond the Bell afterschool tutoring program is today. After today, we will no longer provide afterschool tutoring services for students. Please ensure that your child knows to ride the bus everyday after today. Do not hesitate to contact the school with any questions or concerns regarding this matter.
Please join us for MACA's 16th annual dance revue, Elemental Journey! It will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 6:00 PM in the MACA Gymnasium. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $1.00 for children.

This closure will include any after school activities. Regular school hours are expected to resume on Thursday, March 31st. The decision to have a total system closure was based on advice from the Office of Emergency Preparedness and for safety concerns expressed by the SLPSB Transportation Manager. The safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. Stay safe!

The St. Landry Parish School Board will host CAMP ACCELERATE for all students in grades K - 8!
CAMP ACCELERATE will provide students an opportunity to continue their academic learning in English Language Arts, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science while also engaging them in enrichment activities.
The enrichment opportunities will enable students to take virtual field trips, learn more about science and technology, engage in social living projects, play sports, and develop an appreciation for art, theater, music, and more.
Students will attend CAMP ACCELERATE from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday beginning June 6th and continuing through June 30th. New this Year ! We are exploring the possibility of offering field trips to students on select Fridays.
Students will be offered transportation to and from the program, and lunch will be provided.
Parents of students in grades K to 8 who are interested in registering their children for the program should complete the registration form below. Please complete one form per child.

Washington Elementary is selling Leap 2025 T-Shirts. Each student has received an order form. The Shirts are $10 and up depending on the size. The order form and money are due tomorrow Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
Bus 563 will not be running on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Parents will have to provide transportation for their child to and from school on that day. Dropoff time is no earlier than 7:30AM. Pickup time is at 3:00PM. The dropoff and pickup location is on the side of the school building. For the safety and well being of your child please adhere the dropoff and pickup guidelines. Thanks for your cooperation in helping us educate your child.
