Good afternoon,
In order to expedite our growing car rider line, we would like to get as many vehicles in the horseshoe as possible. From today forward, we ask that the first vehicle that arrives on campus pull all the way up to the sign that says "Please Pull Up To Here." Your students will still be escorted to your car.
As always, thanks for helping us make our campus a safer place.

The month of October marks National Principals Month, established to recognize the essential role that principals play in making a school great. Throughout this month show some 💙💛 to our SLP school leaders by dropping them a 🗒️ of thanks. #ThankYourPrincipal

Employees, we would like to celebrate all BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS in our SLP workplace. If you would like us to celebrate you on our website and on social media, please send us a picture along with the number of years you've been in the breast cancer journey. Pictures can be sent to tfontenot3@slpsb.org. Please put BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR in the subject line of the email.

Every October, people show support for all affected by breast cancer. SLP will be recognizing employees who battled or are battling breast cancer. Today we are celebrating one of our very own, Mrs. Patricia Montgomery. #breastcancerawareness

Attendance Matters!
Students who attend school regularly have increased reading and math skills! We have set a school goal of 95% attendance each day/month. Our September attendance percentage was 94.57. We fell short of our goal this month but look forward to trying again in October. The following homerooms met or exceeded the September goal: Mrs. Fontenot, Ms. Cade, Mrs. Devillier, and Ms. Tobi. These classes will get a special treat this week! Individual students who have a 95% attendance at the end of the first quarter will be "treated" also!
Everyday counts!
