Announcement:
All dress codes are managed and enforced at the school level. The Palmetto Elementary Safety Committee reviews its dress code annually and determines if adjustments are warranted for the coming year. School administration at Palmetto Elementary has made the decision in preparation for the next school year to no longer permit hoodies or jackets/coats with hoods as an allowable part of the school uniform in grades 3-5. This decision was made out of an abundance of safety concerns. Students in these grade level may still wear a beanie type hat on cold weather day.
