Reminders:
- End of the nine weeks is Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Report cards go home on March 27, 2023.
- Coke fundraiser forms and money are due to the office on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
- Early dismissal (12:15 pm) on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. No Learning Beyond the Bell on this date.
- Easter bunny pictures on Friday, March 24, 2023. The cost is $8.00 for a 4x6 print.
- Students can wear jeans for a bag of candy on Friday, March 24, 2023.
- Testing T-shirts order forms and money are due on Friday, March 24, 2023.
Kindergarten Registration for new students to St. Landry Parish is now online. Please share the following information with anyone wishing to newly enroll their child in kindergarten in St. Landry Parish School District.
Who can enroll?
~Your child is eligible if he/she is a new kindergarten student to St. Landry Parish Schools in the 2023-2024 school year.
~Your child is eligible if he/she is five years of age by September 30, 2023.
~Your child is eligible if he or she was born between Oct. 1, 2017, and September 30, 2018.
~Your child is eligible if he/she is a current SLP Head Start Student who qualifies with age.

Show some Bronco pride and order your testing T-shirts today! Let's keep that "A" school spirit. Testing shirts can be worn any day of the week. Order forms went home with 3rd through 5th grade students this week and are due back to the office by Friday, March 24, 2023. Younger grades can also purchase these shirts. If you need an order form, please contact the office.

Palmetto Elementary reminders:
- Mrs. Jacobs and Kasey Kennedy's buses will not be running on this afternoon. Make arrangements to pick up your child(ren).
- If you need to check out your child(ren), do so before 2:30 pm. Car riders dismiss at 2:55 pm.
- Please do not exit your vehicle during car rider dismissal. Remain in your vehicle and your child(ren) will be brought to you. Do not park on the road in front of school to cross the street to retrieve your child(ren). Please help us keep all of our students safe by following these rules.
Spring Pictures will be taken on tomorrow, March 17, 2023. Students can dress in their best dress attire. Make sure it is school appropriate.

Kasey Kennedy's bus will not be running tomorrow or Friday. Please make arrangements to transport your student(s) to and from school on those days.

Mrs. Jacobs (Morrow Area) will not be running on Thursday and Friday, March 16-17. Students who ride this bus will need transportation to and from school on those days. She will also not run for Beyond the Bell after school tutoring on Wednesday, March 15.

- Palmetto Elementary will be participating in SOLA giving day again for the 2022-2023 school year. Giving can begin when the site opens on April 4, 2023 (www.solagivingday.org). Help us beat last year's record with 49 donors raising $6,605.00. We look forward to another successful year.

Kasey Kennedy, Mrs. Payne, and Faye Thierry's buses will not be running on tomorrow, March 10, 2023. Please make arrangements to get your child to school and picked up from school. Remember that school will dismiss early tomorrow with car riders being dismissed at 10:45 and bus riders being dismissed at 11:00 am.
Kasey Kennedy’s bus will not be running tomorrow afternoon. She will also not run on Friday morning or afternoon.

As noted in previous message, school will dismiss early tomorrow with car riders @ 10:45 and bus riders @ 11:00.
There will be no Beyond the Bell tomorrow.
This afternoon, Ms. Kasey Kennedy's riders will ride home on Ms. Thierry's bus. Ms. Kasey will not be running tomorrow morning, however her bus riders will ride home on Ms. Thierry's bus tomorrow afternoon.
