Last week to sell tickets for our Christmas Raffle! 1st place prize is a Samsung Galaxy Tablet with a Custom Ornament. 2nd place prize is a Hand Made Christmas Wreath & Custom Christmas Ornament. 3rd place prize is a basket of Christmas Treats & Goodies! Top sellers within each class will receive a free jean day and concession item. Top seller in school will receive a free jean day, free concession item, and bag full of goodies!

Grand Prairie Elementary Christmas Raffle Tickets are going home with students today. Please try to sell as much as possible. If you are unable to sell, please send the tickets back to school. Top sellers will be given a prize. Drawing will be held on December 18th.

Grand Prairie Elementary is committed to protecting the health and safety of all students. According to the Center for Disease Control: - Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people between the ages of 10 and 24. - In Louisiana, suicide is the third leading cause of death for ages 15-34, and the fourth leading cause of death for ages 10-14. We are asking students and staff members to wear an orange shirt Friday, November 13th to show we are united in working together to prevent suicide!

Students at GPE showed their support during Red Ribbon Week. On Monday, they wore neon shirts to symbolize they were "Too Bright for Drugs!"
