GPE Parents: TOMORROW, Wednesday, September 8th, Mr. Kevin Auzenne's bus (#593 and sub bus #611) WILL NOT BE RUNNING. There will be NO SUBSTITUTE driver, so the transportation department asks that you please find other means of transportation to and from school.

TIK TOK CHALLENGE - PLEASE SHARE & JOIN IN THE FUN!

All St. Landry Parish schools and facilities will be open to students Tuesday, August 31, 2021, with the exception of Cankton Elementary, Eunice Junior High (follow pre-hurricane hybrid schedule), Port Barre Middle, Port Barre High School, and Washington Career and Technical Education Center. The above-mentioned schools will continue at-home learning for students. You will receive additional information from your school’s administrator. Students attending the St. Landry Parish Virtual Learning Academy will be contacted with additional information regarding coursework.

GPE parents: To celebrate our first Friday of the new school year, students may wear jeans FOR FREE tomorrow! Students can wear a spirit shirt or uniform shirt with their jeans. 👕👖

ATTENTION PARENTS OF GPE STUDENTS WHO RIDE BUS 558 (Mr. Roger Brown) AND BUS 603 (Mr. Brent Melancon): Mr. Brent will be picking up/dropping off students from Mr. Brown's route. This will continue until December. Students will be picked up about 30 minutes earlier because of this.

GPE Staggered Entry: We are aware that many parents did not receive the message sent our yesterday and we apologize. The plans for staggered entry at Grand Prairie are as follows: Students with last names beginning with A-L will attend tomorrow, Wednesday, August 18th. Students with last names beginning with M-Z will attend Thursday, August 19th. All students will attend Friday, August 20th. If you have a student at Plaisance or Northwest who is attending another day, please call the office so we can adjust the schedule for your convenience. 337-826-3391 Thank you!
