Grand Prairie Elementary is committed to protecting the health and safety of all students. According to the Center for Disease Control: - Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people between the ages of 10 and 24. - In Louisiana, suicide is the third leading cause of death for ages 15-34, and the fourth leading cause of death for ages 10-14. We are asking students and staff members to wear an orange shirt Friday, November 13th to show we are united in working together to prevent suicide!
