GPE STAKERHOLDERS: Parents that are decorating a trunk for Trunk or Treat tomorrow, please have your trunk ready by 11:00 A.M. and park at the gym, on the Left Hand Side of the gym. All other parent volunteers and visitors may park on the Right Hand Side of the gym. Also, students that are NOT participating in Trunk or Treat, may NOT wear their costumes to school. The Ice Cream Truck is Coming to GPE THIS FRIDAY (9/20/24)!
GPE will have early dismissal this Wednesday (9/18/24) for faculty/staff professional development. Buses will dismiss at 12:10 PM. Car riders will dismiss at 12:15 PM.
Important St. Landry Parish School District Announcement:
After consulting with the Office of Emergency Preparedness, all schools and administrative offices will be open tomorrow, Thursday, September 12, 2024. However, please be aware that there may be transportation delays due to the aftermath of Hurricane Francine. Given the extensive geography of our parish, we understand that some areas may face challenges. If your family is experiencing storm-related difficulties that prevent your child from attending school, please reach out to the school to inform them.
