Grand Prairie Elementary Christmas Raffle Tickets are going home with students today. Please try to sell as much as possible. If you are unable to sell, please send the tickets back to school. Top sellers will be given a prize. Drawing will be held on December 18th.
Grand Prairie Elementary is committed to protecting the health and safety of all students. According to the Center for Disease Control:
- Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people
between the ages of 10 and 24.
- In Louisiana, suicide is the third leading cause of death for ages 15-34,
and the fourth leading cause of death for ages 10-14.
We are asking students and staff members to wear an orange shirt Friday, November 13th to show we are united in working together to prevent suicide!

Students at GPE showed their support during Red Ribbon Week. On Monday, they wore neon shirts to symbolize they were "Too Bright for Drugs!"
GPE students showed their are "Proud to be Drug Free" by wearing a red shirt on Tuesday.
