Eunice Elementary Reminders: **July 1st is the last day of Camp Accelerate. Students will be dismissed at 1:00pm on this day. **July 5th - The office will be closed in observance of Independence Day. **Mark your calendar. August 2nd, between 10am - 1pm, all students are to be registered and this will be an opportunity to meet teachers. All students will a need completed registration packet. Paper copies will be available at school or can be found at https://www.slpsb.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=1573816&type=d&pREC_ID=2129885 Additional school forms will be available during registration. New students will need the following documents: birth certificate, social security card, withdrawal from previous school (if applicable), last report card, up-to-date immunization record, two current proofs of residence in the parent or legal guardian's name/address. Provisional custody or custody is only accepted by court order. Returning students (including those who attended Highland Elem last school year) will need the following documents: Entergy, Cleco, or Slemco bill; Cable TV/Satellite bill; Telephone bill (land line) or Tax Assessor's bill; Original, current Medical/Medicare or social security insurance card, Original Homestead Exemption, Original mortgage or original lease agreement/rental contract on company letterhead (if utilities are included in the rental fee, you must provide a bill showing the name and address). Please be prepared to pay the $25 Activity Fee and drop off school supplies during registration.

Eunice Elementary Reminders: **June 17th - 18th & June 23rd - 25th, the office will be closed. **August 2nd - Registration & Meet Your Teacher. Plan to come to school to register your child and meet his/her teacher between the times of 10:00am - 1:00pm. **The 2021-2022 School Supply List is attached to this message. **If you child is attending Camp Accelerate remember to send them with a water bottle. Also, Kona Ice will be there on Thursday, June 17th. Prices are $3 - $6.

LANDRY PARISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO DISMISS EARLY TODAY May 18, 2021 OPELOUSAS, LA -- Due to forecasted precipitation causing possible hazardous road conditions and widespread flooding parish-wide, all schools and head start centers will dismiss early today, May 18, 2021. The overall safety of our students and employees necessitates the early dismissal of schools. Dismissal times are as follows: SLATS/Alternative - 1:30 PM; MACA/BioMed - 1:40 PM; High School/Junior High - 2:00 PM; Head Start - 2:00 PM; North Central/Palmetto - 2:00 PM; Elementary/Middle Schools - 2:20 PM - 2:40 PM (This is dependent on bus arrival from first routes.); *Car riders should contact the school for pick-up times. We will continue to consult with school administrators, the National Weather Service, and the Office of Emergency Preparedness in the decision-making progress regarding the closing of schools. Good morning! This is a friendly reminder that today is the last day to register your child for Camp Accelerate. If you would like for your child to attend Camp Accelerate come to the office today to complete a registration form. Camp Accelerate will provide students an opportunity to continue their academic learning in English Language Arts, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science while also engaging them in enrichment activities. The enrichment opportunities will enable students to take virtual field trips, learn more about science and technology, engage in social living projects, play sports, and develop an appreciation for art, theater, music, and more. Students will attend CAMP ACCELERATE from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday beginning June 7th and continuing through July 1st. Students will be offered transportation to and from the program, and lunch will be provided. Eunice Elem students will attend Camp Accelerate at Glendale Elementary.
