Carpentry

Carpentry I & II will review the history of and uses of building materials, hand tools, power tools, safety, and construction drawing, and wall systems in the field of Carpentry. 

Carpentry III & IV identifies the components and installation of floor systems, ceiling joists, roof framing, door & window installation (building envelope systems), and basic stair layout.

NCCER Carpentry Helper and NCCER Carpentry Level 1 certifications can be earned.  Each course earns students 2 Carnegie Units.
