Sneak Peak: The Creswell Middle School Chess Club is ready and eager to learn about the game of chess. That's right CHESS "Not" Checkers. They are under the leadership of Mr. Ron Nicholas. Mr. Ron has an extensive background in chess, and we are grateful for him teaching our students. Stay tuned for more exciting news about our new "Chess Club".

Creswell Middle School Band Parents: The Northwest High School Battle of the Bands that was scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, October 25, 2025 has been cancelled and rescheudled for Saturday, November 22nd. Our band students will still get opportunity to attend this event. We will resend permission slips home closer to this new date. Thank you!

CMS Parents and Guardians: This is a friendly reminder that we will have Open House- 1st 9 Weeks Report Cards today, Monday, October 20, 2025 from 5pm to 6pm. We will start immediately after our LBTB Tutoring Program has dismissed. If you need to meet with your child's teacher/teacher, please schedule an appointment with them to meet with you or call you on their planning. 😊

Happy National Bus Safety Week! We're reminding everyone about the most important rule when the yellow bus is near: ⚠️STOP ON RED!⚠️
If you see a school bus with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, you must stop. It's the law in all 50 states, and it protects children as they enter and exit the bus. Let's make every stop a safe stop!

Creswell Middle School Parents and Guardians: Creswell Middle School will host our 1st 9 Weeks Report Cards -Open House on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 5pm to 6pm. With this being a short week after Fall Break, and with a conscious effort not to interfere with our feeder schools who are having open house, we chose to push our date back to Monday. If you can not make it on this date, we will send report cards home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Please call or email your child's teacher to set up an appointment on their planning period prior to coming to school to discuss grades and discipline.

Good Morning Creswell Middle Parents and Guardians: Bus 521- Mr. Jeremy Richard WILL RUN his bus route this morning, but NOT this afternoon, Thursday, October 16th. Please make the necessary arrangements to pick up your child/children from school.

Creswell Middle Parents and Guardians: If you are interested in your child taking the flu shot at school, please complete the application from Health Hero. All students went home with these applications last week. If you are not interested, you do not have to return the form. The applications are due Friday, October 17, 2025.

Good morning Parents and Guardians: Creswell Middle School conducted a mock crisis drill- Lockdown, Intruder on Campus this morning. These drills are required and mandatory by law. Some of our students really took this seriously and some got a little emotional. As the school principal, faculty and staff, it is our responsibility to train and prepare your child/children for these unfortunate situations that are occurring in our community and country. On top of this, we had some students who should not have had their cell phones on campus to text misinformation to outsiders about this drill. This causes mass confusion and panic to you the parents, guardians and the community. This is why we stress NO Cell Phones! We will continue to teach and train your child/children to be safe and prepared at school for any type of emergency. If you see something or hear something else about today's incident please know it was a drill, and there will be more unannounced safety drills throughout the school year.
