One of the St. Landry Parish School District’s 33 schools, Plaisance Middle School is a 5th-8th grade middle school serving the Plaisance community near Opelousas, Louisiana. Plaisance School was founded in 1920 as a Rosenwald School, and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
