Please do not forget about your summer reading and projects that will be due at the beginning of school. Click the link for information about grade levels and book available are attached! We do have books located in the office that can be checked out and students may come in to AR test between the hours of 8:30-2:00!

Dear Palmetto Elementary stakeholders, please fill out the following survey from the 2023-2024 school year. All students whose guardian complete the survey will receive a free Jean day pass. * also included is a survey about changing a school graphic located on the exterior of our building. Please help us decide whether to keep the graphic or replace with a new updated graphic.
Surveys must be completed by Friday, July 26th by 5:00 pm.

We will be following a staggered entry schedule for the first two days students return to school. The schedule is as follows:
August 8th - Last names beginning with A-I; August 9th - Last names beginning with J-Z; August 12th - All students report. We are looking forward to our students returning to school for a successful school year!

All St. Landry Parish School Board Administrative offices and schools will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in observance of Juneteenth. We will not have summer school or Camp Accelerate on this day.
BUS SCHEDULE: If your child is participating in summer school to remove deficiency credits, please follow the link to view the bus satellite locations and pick-up times. Classes are Monday-Thursday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. https://5il.co/2n1qf.

Students will wear their fun day t-shirt and school appropriate shorts with water shoes, crocs, or slides. They need a change of clothes and towel!
Good afternoon all parents and guardians of Palmetto Elementary students!!! Tomorrow is FUN DAY!!!!! We are very excited for a great day with our students! Due to an issue with shipping from our supplier, our fun day t-shirts will not be here until last this afternoon. Please send students tomorrow with an appropriate t-shirt and school appropriate shorts with water shoes, crocs, or slides. They will receive their t-shirts first thing in the morning! They will also need a change of clothes and towel!
The Fun Day concession and store will be open also! Items range from $1 to $5!
