*Mrs. Rosa's bus is not running this afternoon. Her students will be put on Mrs. Barker's bus.
*Tomorrow-wear a green shirt with jeans for $1
*Friday-jean day $1 jeans, $1 shirt, $1 hat, $1 boots
*Our school pantry will be open to all community members on Friday from 9-12. Check in at the office.
*Spring pictures will be taken on Monday. Students may dress up for pictures. All students will be photographs and proofs will be sent home.
*3rd quarter end on Friday, March 25, 2022.

Good morning! Our school food pantry is overflowing! On Friday, March 18, 2022 from 9-12, we will open our food pantry to the public! Any community members are invited to come to campus to "shop" with us. All items are free of charge. If possible, please bring plastic bags or a box for your groceries. Available items include: peanut better, grape jelly, boxed macaroni and cheese, boxed instant potatoes, canned tuna, spaghetti, canned corn, canned green beans, applesauce, canned mandarin oranges, canned fruit, chicken noodle soup, macaroni and beef, canned spaghetti rings, canned chicken, pinto bean, and white rice. Check in with the office upon arrival! Happy shopping!

If you would like to add your child to the registration/testing list for pre-k, please call the office at 337-623-4482 and Mrs. Kisha would be glad to help you!!! Students entering Pre-K must be four (4) years of age on or before September 30, 2022. Hurry spots are limited and are filling up fast!

This school closure impacts the following schools--North Central High, Palmetto Elementary, Washington Elementary, CAPS, SLATS, MACA, Washington Career Center, and the Head Start centers of the zone

****Students based at NCHS/Washington Elementary/Palmetto Elementary who attend CAPS, SLATS, MACA, and Washington Career Center will be excused from classes on March 11, 2022.


Announcement:
North Central Hurricane basketball team will travel to Lake Charles on Friday to play for the state championship! For this reason, school will be closed on Friday so that supporters can travel to the game!

A MESSAGE FROM SLPSB: At the St. Landry Parish School Board Meeting last night, the Board voted to make mask wearing optional at schools, district facilities, and on the school bus. This Board action is effective immediately.
