Weekly Reminders:
*Breakfast is severed until 7:45. If your child will be arriving on campus after 7:45, please ensure that they have eaten breakfast at home.
*School begins at 7:55.
*Please check your child's blue school folder to access important beginning of the year forms that need to be filled out and returned to school.
*As per St. Landry Parish School Board Policy, all outerwear (sweatshirts, sweaters, jackets, coats) must not have a hood. (grades pre-kindergarten through 12th)

Please make sure your student brings bottled water or a refillable water bottle that can be used in our bottle filling station. With these extreme temperatures, we want to make sure that everyone stays hydrated. We do have Palmetto Elementary water bottles for $10 each if you are interested.

Please share this information with anyone who has a child who meets the age requirement (*Must be four by Sep. 30, 2023).

Palmetto Elementary Meet & Greet tomorrow, August 8, 2023, from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. Please come join us to meet your child's teacher, drop off school supplies, and pay school fees (if you are paying cash, please bring exact change if possible). If your child is entering 3rd-6th grade, have them wear their uniform shirt to take their ID pictures.
Spirit store orders are in and are ready for pick up in the office.
Palmetto Elementary school registration/technology fee information for the 2023-2024 school year. Kindergarten through 6th grade will need to pay a School Registration Fee of $25.00 for the first student and $15 for each additional student, plus the District Technology Fee of $10.00 per student in the household. Palmetto Elementary:
- Spirit Store orders have been received. You may come to the school to pick up the orders. The spirit store will be reopened in the near future for anyone who wants to make an order that did not get a chance in the summer.
- There is no clear/mesh book sack policy for Palmetto Elementary.
- Meet & Greet is scheduled for August 8, 2023 from 2:00 - 5:00. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
