A MESSAGE FROM SLPSB: At the St. Landry Parish School Board Meeting last night, the Board voted to make mask wearing optional at schools, district facilities, and on the school bus. This Board action is effective immediately.
MACA will continue to accept applications into March. Students entering 7th-12th grade in the 2022-2023 school year and interested in creative writing, theatre, dance, band, chorus, or art are eligible to apply. After further consultation with the Office of Emergency Preparedness and receiving the latest reports from the National Weather Service, all St. Landry Parish School Board schools, Head Start centers, and administrative offices will be closed tomorrow, January 21, 2022. Students will not have remote learning tomorrow.

If you suspect your child of having Talented characteristics in MUSIC, THEATRE AND/OR VISUAL ART contact your child’s school for a referral to the School Building Level Committee. Talented referrals and evaluations are only conducted once a year in the Spring.
