It is with great pleasure that we welcome Mrs. Gwendolyn Pitre back to our school. Mrs. Pitre is a dedicated and experienced 3rd-grade teacher, specializing in mathematics. She has been an integral part of our educational community for the past three years, and we are thrilled that she will continue to inspire and educate our students about the significance of mathematics.

It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to Mr. Andrew Savoie as he joins Lawtell Elementary School. Mr. Andrew comes to us with valuable experience as an instructional paraprofessional in the district, and we are genuinely excited about the expertise and insight he will bring to our students. We are thrilled to welcome back Mr. Nigel A. Poole for his second year at Lawtell. Mr. Poole is known for his unwavering dedication, strong work ethic, and exemplary discipline, all of which greatly contribute to our community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for being an integral part of the Trojan country, and we warmly welcome you back!

We will be following a staggered entry schedule for the first two days students return to school. The schedule is as follows:
August 8th - Last names beginning with A-I; August 9th - Last names beginning with J-Z; August 12th - All students report. We are looking forward to our students returning to school for a successful school year!

Lawtell Elementary School is excited to announce that we will be hosting our Registration event on July 26, 2024 and July 29, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. On July 26, 2024, we will be serving students with last names beginning with A-H, and on July 29, 2024, we will be serving students with last names beginning with I-Z. It is important to remember to bring all the required documents for registration to ensure a smooth process.
