If you suspect your child has talented music, theater, and/or visual art characteristics, contact your school for a referral to the School Building Level Committee. Talented referrals and evaluations are only conducted once a year in the Spring.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the St. Landry Parish School Board administrative offices and all schools will close at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, and will remain closed for the rest of the week. We wish you all a safe and joyful Thanksgiving holiday.

Highland Early Learning Center Reminder: Come and Learn with Me! Tomorrow, Nov. 14th, parents are invited to come and learn with their child from 9 am - 10 am. The class with the greatest parent participation will receive a pizza party.

If your child typically rides the bus, please ensure someone is available at home to receive them upon their early return. If your child is a car rider, please adhere to the specific car rider dismissal time communicated by the school to ensure a smooth pick-up process. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
