GPE parents: We'd like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to you and your students today! All testing students were present and on time, and they did an AWESOME JOB completing their first day of LEAP! Tomorrow our 3rd graders will begin their LEAP sessions and 4th grade will continue with theirs. Please continue ensuring that students attend each day and arrive by 8:00. Also, NO BOOK SACKS for 3rd and 4th graders tomorrow. THANK YOU, again for helping us to show why GPE is the BEST!
GPE parents: LEAP state testing BEGINS TOMORROW! Our 4th graders will be taking this very important test tomorrow and our 3rd graders will begin Wednesday! Please ensure that your child will be at school all day on these dates: April 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, May 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Students MUST arrive at school before 8:00 a.m. every day. We ask that 4th grade students DO NOT BRING BOOK SACKS beginning tomorrow and everyday until testing is over (Thursday, May 5th). Also, beginning at 8:00 each day of testing, the gates will be LOCKED and no one will be allowed on campus unattended. Someone will meet you at the gym if you need to check in/out a student. GPE parents of 4th grade students: Just a reminder that we will be taking 4th grade commencement pictures TOMORROW, Monday, April 25th. Please allow your student to wear his/her Sunday best. You will receive a proof and directions on how to order after the pictures are taken. Thank you!

GPE parents of 4th grade students: We will be holding a Commencement Ceremony for our exiting 4th grade students! The tentative date is Tuesday, May 17th at 6:00 p.m. Please be on the lookout for invitation in the near future. Also, we will be taking 4th grade commencement pictures on the Monday we return from Easter break (April 25th). Please allow your student to wear his/her Sunday best. You will receive a proof and directions on how to order after the pictures are taken. Thank you!
