To raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, four staff members volunteered to participate in a Pie Face Contest. Students donated to the society by paying to cast their vote on which staff member they'd want to see get pied. Our school principal, Mrs. Renee, had the most votes at the end of the contest and took a pie to the face for the great cause! Ms. Casey trailed close behind and received the remainder of the pie =)
Braylen Daigle, a second grade student at GPE deserves a special thanks for his great donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! In addition to his $1 Pie Face Contest votes for Mrs. Peggy, Braylen donated over $100 to the society just to support the cause! His great act of kindness was rewarded by him receiving his own pie to throw!
