Glendale is excited to welcome another new teacher to our awesome family. Hello my name is Chastity Mire. This is currently my 1st year with Glendale Elementary. I am married to my best friend for 24 years, we have 9 children & 5 littles. I look forward to working with all of your littles as well & I am excited to see what the 24-25 school year will bring.

Pictured below is the new student spirit shirt for 2024 -2025. Order forrms will be available at Meet the Teacher night, August 6. Shirts must be prepaid to order. Please bring exact change or a check made out to Glendale **25% of the proceeds will be used for incentives and teacher appreciation. ** Thank you for supporting our school!

Glendale is excited to share our new teachers that are joining out team for the 2024 -2025 school year! Introducing Mrs.Lynn Burlson I received my degree in interdisciplinary studies for Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. I have been a teacher for 18 years, most of that in Texas and then in Lawtell. Kindergarten is my absolute favorite. I love the look on a student's face when something clicks. I have been married to my awesome husband for 2 years. Between the 2 of us we have 5 kiddos and 3 grandchildren with one on the way. We also have one very spoiled dachshund. I am huge LSU fan and love celebrating Mardi Gras! I am excited to be a part of Glendale!

We will be following a staggered entry schedule for the first two days students return to school. The schedule is as follows: August 8th - Last names beginning with A-I; August 9th - Last names beginning with J-Z; August 12th - All students report. We are looking forward to our students returning to school for a successful school year!

Glendale Elementary online Kindergarten Registration for children who did not attend pre-k in the parish is now available for the 24-25 school year. Must be 5 years old before September 30, 2024. https://stlandry.edgear.net/register/ If you have any questions, please call the school at 337-457-4121.

All St. Landry Parish School Board Administrative offices and schools will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in observance of Juneteenth. We will not have summer school or Camp Accelerate on this day.

Color run tshirts are in and can be picked up either tomorrow or Friday from 10:A.M. - 1:00 P.M.

Reminder Glendale Elementary color Run is rescheduled for tomorrow morning from 9-11. Parents of students who have paid to participate in the color run may attend during this time to watch and powder their child. Students have free dress and should bring a change of clothing if they are participating.
