St. Landry Parish Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, April 11, 2024, due to the extensive damage caused by the recent storms, impacting many of our families. All 12-month employees are asked to report to their respective school/site when they are able to do so safely. We understand this is a difficult time for our community, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility. The closure will allow time for families to address any storm impacts while allowing employees to ensure schools are prepared to reopen once conditions improve. Additional updates will be provided through our normal communication channels as more information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these challenging circumstances together.

Congratulations again to Glendale for being chosen PBIS School of the Month for March 2024

On March 21, 2024 Glendale held an open house /report card pick up for parents. Thanks to all the parents that came to see their child's teacher. Your involvement plays a big part in their learning.

Today Glendale students were awarded candy for meeting their 9 week A.R. goal! Congratulations to all students for their hard work and to the 3rd grade teachers for their great decorations and for distributing all the candy! More pictures coming soon!

Congratulations!!! Glendale Elementary has been selected as SLP PBIS Elementary School for the Month of March. Your students and staff have exhibited excellent positive behavior and it has not gone unnoticed. Glendale students will have a Jean day tomorrow. Students may wear a non uniform shirt and non uniform pants for $1 each. Glendale spirit shirts are not charged and allowed on Fridays.
