Dear Families,
Welcome to CAMP ACCELERATE where we are revved up about learning and fun! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child, and working together to help your child succeed! As parents and guardians, you are the most important teachers in your child’s life, and it is with that understanding that the staff of Camp Accelerate are grateful to partner with you to help your child achieve his/her goals and minimize the "summer slide." To ensure success during this summer session, please read over the following information:
- Students should plan to attend from June 7, 2021 – July 1, 2021 from 8:00 – 3:00.
- Students are allowed to miss no more than one day of camp.
- Lunch will be served and transportation to and from camp is available.
- Students are not required to wear uniforms, but attire should be school appropriate in fit, style, and graphics. Also, since children will engage in a variety of activities which may include physical activity, sandals, flip flops, and other open toe or exposed heel shoes are not permitted.
- Students will be administered a pre-test on June 7, 2021 and a post-test on July 1, 2021. Please ensure that your child is present on these days.
- A Zero Tolerance for willfully disobedient behavior is in effect for CAMP ACCELERATE. We wish to maximize our 16 days of fun and learning. If your child is disruptive, she/he may be dismissed from the camp.
- All promotion/retention decisions are determined by the base school administrator and school building level committee and not by Camp Accelerate teachers or staff.
