Please be advised that the Transportation Department will be working this Saturday, August 22nd from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM to assist families with bus route inquiries. If you have any questions regarding your child's bus route, bus number, pickup location, or schedule, staff members will be available to assist you.

This council will meet three (3) times per year to provide advice and recommendations regarding special education policies, procedures, and resources. The council will also engage in outreach activities to the community at large to increase the level of knowledge, support, and collaboration with respect to special education.

Tryouts will be held for:
1. All students entering 7th grade who are interested in playing football.
2. Students entering 8th grade who did not play football last year and are interested in playing football for the upcoming season.
**8th grade students who played football as 7th graders DO NOT need to attend tryouts.

NFL Agent, attorney, and author of "Faith. Failure. Football.", Paul T. DeRousselle II visited our campus today to inspire and motivate our youth. Both students and staff were thrilled to welcome Mr. DeRousselle! The students expressed their gratitude and engaged in meaningful discussions about his experiences growing up in Eunice and his newly released book.

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) initiative offers a 2026 summer program which provides opportunities during non-school hours for academic enrichment, including providing tutorial services to help students meet the challenging State academic standards. The program offers students a broad array of additional services, programs and activities that include but are not limited to bowling, movies, and art.
We are pleased to announce that St. Landry Parish School Board is offering the opportunity for our students to participate in this summer program which runs from June 1- 25, 2026 from 8:00 am -12:00 pm at Central Middle School. (EJHS students will report to CMS).
