All of the Opelousas elementary feeder schools are having their Meet & Greets on Tuesday, August 5th. This would be too much for you to split yourselves between more than one school on the same day, so we chose to offer you a different day. If you can’t make it, don’t stress it! Creswell Middle School Back to School Registration 2025: Monday, July 28th (5th grade) and Tuesday, July 29th (6th grade); CMS Cafeteria from 9am to 1pm. CMS Parents and Guardians: Early Dismissal Notice- Today, Wednesday, May 21, 2025 is the Last Day of School. School will dismiss at 12:15 pm. Our bus and car line up will start at 12 pm, and students will be dismissed accordingly by administration. Please make the necessary arrangements for your child/children for this early dismissal day noted on the SLP District Calendar. Thank You.
CMS Parents and Guardians: Students attend the Extra Time to Learn and Summer Skills Building Program Must Adhere to the following DRESS AND GROOMING:
School uniforms are not required during the summer session. NOTE: No tight or revealing
clothing worn by any student will be tolerated. SHOES - Students must wear a closed shoe (front and back). Sandals, clogs, flip-flops, slippers, or other similar types of shoes are not allowed.
Creswell Middle School Parenrts and Guardians: Our Field Day/Color Run is scheduled tomorrow, Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Our 5th and 6th students may participate in Color Run, if they have NOT purchased a shirt, but they must bring in at least a $1.00 donation ,and they must wear their school uniform. They can bring an old shirt to change into for the color run. The colors are washable, however we don't want them to wear a newer uniform.
