We're super excited to announce our 1st Annual Student Arts Expo will happen on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 10 AM to 3 PM on the Opelousas Courthouse Square. We are so very thankful of the Acadiana Center for the Arts for making this happen. There will be school bands, student artists, our robotics teams, and so much more. This event is free and open to everyone! Please come out and support our students and bring friends!

MACA will have its annual Black History Program, " A Celebration of Culture," on February 16, 2023 at 6:00 PM. Admission is $5 (cash only). Tickets can only be purchased at the door. There will be no online ticket sales. We hope you will come out and watch.

CMS Parents and Guardians: Due to the possibility of inclement weather this afternoon/evening, Learning Beyond the Bell after school enrichment program will be cancelled for today, Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023. Please make the necessary arrangements to pick up your child or children, if they attend this program.

CMS Parents and Guardians: Bus 523 (Ms. Jill Rideaux) WILL NOT BE Passing Tomorrow Afternoon Only- Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023. Please make the necessary arrangements to get your child /children from school on tomorrow afternoon. There is NO Sub Driver. She WILL RUN her bus route tomorrow morning.

Creswell Middle School will be participating in Learning Beyond the Bell Parent Edition. Mrs. Breaux, our 5th Grade Science teacher will be delivering information from her 5th Grade Science class. What is It? Teacher led classroom for parents. Parents can log-in and teachers will teach them the same lesson taught to the students during the school day. Lessons are 2 hours on Mondays from 6 p.m. to 8 pm. The sessions will be twice a month beginning Monday, February 13th through Monday, May 8th. Virtually. How Do I join? Creswell Middle School will dismiss at 12:15p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 for our February Faculty Meeting. There will be No Learning Beyond the Bell- After School Program. The Car Rider Line Up will start at 12pm and the Bus Line Up will start at approximately 12pm. Please be mindful that the majority of our buses have OHS/MACA or OJHS routes before coming to CMS. We will notify you, if there are any changes to the early dismissal schedule.
