Reminder: PBIS Jean Day is Friday, November 22, 2024! $1 for jeans with the 2024-2025 spirit shirt OR $2 for jeans and a school appropriate shirt! All proceeds will go to PBIS! * Jeans can not have any tears, rips, or holes. đđ€đ

CMS: 6th grade students with no major referrals received field trip permission forms for a field trip to attend a Holiday Arts Celebration at MACA - School of Arts. Please return completed field trip forms and $5 for transportation costs by 3pm on Friday, December 13, 2024. Thanks.

CMS: there are buses that may be late picking up students from their bus stops and dropping them off at school due to a traffic jam on Hwy 190. Students who arrive late will be excused.
Central Middle School students and staff hosted a Veterans Day program to honor men and women who have served our country. Veterans from the VFW Post 8971 demonstrated to 5th grade students how to raise a flag. Our special guests joined our student body for a program. Guest speakers Pastor Lloyd and Denise Antoine shared words of inspiration to our students. Thanks to CMS staff members serving on the Veterans Day committee for organizing this event: C. Guillory, B. Ventress, K. Stagg, and J. Ford!
Central Middle School English Learner (EL) students who showed improvement from their 2023 ELPT scores to their 2024 ELPT scores earned a celebration field trip to TopGolf in Lafayette! We are proud of the progress that you have made with your goals!

Permission forms have gone home to 5th grade students for the upcoming Body Talk, presented by the Foundation for Wellness. The presentation will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 12th at CMS for students whose parents sign and return a permission slip.
