We are excited to announce that Mrs. Leighann Fields is Central Middle's Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Fields is a dedicated educator who commits countless hours to the academic advancement of the students and staff at CMS. She currently serves as a mentor to all Central Middle's novice educators. Mrs. Fields is a member of the Instructional Leadership Team, a site-based committee that analyzes CMS' instructional data (empirical and analytical) to determine learning efficiency. She is also the chairperson of the SBLC and WBLT committees. Mrs. Fields' scholarly activities include extensive work with Learning Forward, a professional learning association.
