Participants will gather ideas for how to best align Amplify instruction to the best practices presented in the Compass Rubric. Please bring a charged laptop or other device for accessing the internet and your Amplify teacher manual.

Teachers will receive an overview and look-fors in each of the three domains of COMPASS: Planning and Setting Instructional Outcomes, Classroom Management, and Instruction (Engaging Students in Learning, Questioning and Discussion, and Assessment). Next, we will apply this knowledge through planning for upcoming myPerspectives lessons so that teachers can actually use this information the very next day.
